Garden Magic

Garden Magic #1

By Dawn Van Win

Seeds resting in
A furrow deep

Awaken from
Resplendent sleep

Soft rain falls gently
From above

And beckons life
To grow
In love

  1. Simple sentiments, well presented, thank you for sharing. Your watercolour is also representative of summer...

  2. I enjoyed your short poem, lovely picture, both compliment each other.

  3. I am intrigued Dawn. Are both painting and poem titled "Garden Magic?" Whilst the poem, in nice neat verse, is immediately understood, the painting begs individual interpretation. My thoughts, and they are simply mine, are that the poem with 3 stanzas instead of four, but retaining the seeds journey, would
give "ME" a title of "Three Steps to Heaven." Just my thoughts Dawn but I loved it anyway.
