We are a diverse group from all walks of life. Our passion is to write; to the best of our ability and sometimes beyond.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month, to read and critique our work in friendly, open discussion. However, the Group is not solely about entertaining ourselves. We support THE ESSEX AND HERTS AIR AMBULANCE by producing and selling anthologies of our work. So far we have raised in excess of £9,700, by selling our books at venues throughout Essex.
Lovely reminder of our birds.In my garden it is the Robin who is there first and takes all he can before the other hungry birds have even noticed I have just replenished the bird table. Him and his wife dont miss a trick with their beady little eyes.
Who doesn't love a robin, follows you around hoping your going to dig up some worms for him/her. leave your fork or spade in the ground whilst you have a cuppa and they will perch straight on it as if to say " come on get back to work we have babies to feed. Love the rhythm Shelley.
Thanks for your comments. I've been leaving the conservatory windows open with a little tray of sunflower hearts and crushed peanuts on the dining table, guess who's been flying in for treats? Shell.
