BEING ME

 BEING ME

By Rosemary Clarke

I want people to hug
I don't want them near me.
Want a room full of people
Want so much silence.
I want to live
Yet I think of death.
Want the sweetness of a grave
Yet bursting to break the surface.
Want to alter things
Yet can't move a muscle.
Want out of this Hell
Yet it's still with me.
Want the memories out of my head
But they won't go.

  1. It a real topsy-turvy world, don't we all go through such switches of mood? Nicely written, shows the yin & yang of life.
