A Personal Farewell
Today
I’ve lost a special friend,
not one I’ve met, nor seen up close,
though
a dear friend she was.
She was my guidance, our holy light,
she
had no fear through fire and flight
She
remains my light till due days slight
a
monarch
so
colourful till the end
reaching
for the stars
