We are a diverse group from all walks of life. Our passion is to write; to the best of our ability and sometimes beyond.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month, to read and critique our work in friendly, open discussion. However, the Group is not solely about entertaining ourselves. We support THE ESSEX AND HERTS AIR AMBULANCE by producing and selling anthologies of our work. So far we have raised in excess of £9,700, by selling our books at venues throughout Essex.
We have a few sluice gates in South Woodham. Have the dregs swallowed the river's apostrophe? Geometrics and the blackbird, now that's got me thinking. I've plumped for "a chick leaving the nest" A cylindrical home before entering a world of many shapes. Just hope they recognise the shape of that nasty cat. Thanks Rob I keep thinking of alternatives.
Both thought provoking haiku. I was torn as to weather I should post a blackbird or a dark geometric scene,,, The latter won out.

First one very descriptive and easy to understand. Second, not so much but thought provoking all the same. Slowly, I am beginning to enjoy haiku's.
ReplyDeleteI like both the haikus. The second one I needed to read twice to get.
